"Compliance consulting project is in need of a Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) QC Analyst to join the team. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of relevant, professional Compliance and/or Audit experience (e.g., Regulatory Examiner, Compliance Officer/Director, Compliance Consultant, etc.). Additional experience can be used as a substitute for educational requirement. Duties and Responsibilities: • Review other's data entry work in order detect errors • Detect errors • Advise entry operators on errors and how to correct them • Coordinate entry operator volumes / workloads with peers • Fill out daily/weekly reports, as needed • Communicates will all colleagues in a positive and effective manner • May prepare estimates of resources needed to complete activities and projects • Works directly with a client to solve problems or make decisions requiring specialized knowledge • Performs other related duties as assigned. Must have: •Strong working knowledge of all mortgage origination documents (e.g., Note, HUD-1/1A Settlement Statement, Truth-in-Lending statement) •Strong working knowledge of Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) / Regulation C requirements • Knowledge of financial services industry, including retail, mortgage/loans/deposits and wholesale banking • Knowledge of methods, tools, and technology used to carry out tasks necessary • Considerable knowledge and use of quality management methods, tools, and technology • Skill in understanding and focusing on the clients’ needs, establishing credibility and building relationships with clients • Skill in analysis, solid decision-making and problem solving skills • Ability to demonstrate interpersonal and teambuilding skills and manage conflict • Ability to communicate exceptionally both verbally and in writing • Ability to establish /maintain effective working relationships with employees, clients, vendors & public • Ability to effectively lead and supervise Other: Positions will be on a 2 week rotation 2 weeks on - 2 weeks off (First shift Monday through Friday). There will be a training cycle beginning three (3) days prior to the initiation of the 2-on/2-off schedule.
