"Our client one of the leading groups in Saudi Arabia offering Comprehensive Solutions in Engineering and Construction for more than 3 decades requires a GENERAL MANAGER for their operations in Saudi Arabia. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: - Provide leadership and vision to the organization by assisting the Board and staff with the development of long range annual plans, and with the evaluation and reporting of progress on plans; Oversee preparation of Annual reports summarizing progress on short and long range plans; Research and write analysis reports and proposals as needed to assist the organization in determining and meeting its long and short term objectives. - Increases management's effectiveness by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining managers; communicating values, strategies, and objectives; assigning accountabilities; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; statutory compliances; developing incentives; developing a climate for offering information and opinions; providing employee development opportunities. - Develops strategic plan by studying technological and financial opportunities; presenting assumptions; recommending regarding investments and cash strategies; oversee preparation of annual budget, regular variance statement and annual audit; provide vision and leadership regarding financial health and long range fiscal planning to ensure the continuity and solvency of the company. - Accomplishes subsidiary objectives by establishing marketing plans, budgets, and executes companywide marketing programs; initiates programs on time, correctly and with minimal direction; Coordinates efforts by establishing procurement, production, marketing, field, and technical services policies and practices; coordinating actions with corporate staff. Oversee content, production and distribution of all marketing strategies with the concerned personnel. - Builds company image by collaborating with customers, government, community organizations, and employees; enforcing ethical business practices; Maintaining quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards. - Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies. - Ensuring business and personnel practices are within the law and consistent with policies and procedures; act as a role model and set a positive example for the entire team in all aspects of business and personnel management; follow procedures to maintain the safety and security of all employees, customers/ clients and company assets. - Ensures all department heads are fully informed of operational objectives. Conduct regular meetings with department heads to ensure that priorities are clear and coordination is good. Monitors department performance against performance goals to ensure that progress is being made. QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED - Graduate in Engineering - MBA / PGDBM - Age – 40-50 - Gender - Male EXPERIENCE 20+ years of Experience, out of which the last 5 – 8 years of experience is in Middle or Senior Management position with an Engineering / Construction Company in Middle East. COMPENSATION SAR 30,000 + Accommodation + Transportation"
