"Hiring a Data Analyst in Omaha, NE SUMMARY: Participate in the day-to-day activities of corporate databases and ensure accuracy and integrity of operational data.  Gather, document, and analyze information requirements for implementation and integration into databases.  Respond to recurring and ad hoc information requests.   Provide second level support to business, database, application development and audit teams. RESPONSIBILITES: • Provide day-to-day operational support to internal and external customers. • Serve as point of contact for business community regarding data inquiries,  support and problem resolution, data updates. • Verify data loads. • Develop, test, implement, maintain and document reports and reporting processes. • Responsible for monitoring the day-to-day activities of corporate databases and ensure accuracy and integrity of operational data. Initiate and/or monitor corrective action, as necessary. • In coordination with the Database Architects (DBA), Data Warehouse Architects (DWA) and/or Business Analysis (BA) staff, develop data migration/conversion plans and objects.  Work with DBA's, DWA’s and BA's to derive solutions for data related issues. • Monitor daily reports that expose data inconsistencies, determine the resolution and correct the incorrect data at each source. • Analyze requirements for data migration/conversion plans, then develop objects (queries, views, stored procedures and SQL Server Integration Services packages, etc) necessary to perform the activity. • Complete small projects to support the requirements of business teams. QUALIFICATIONS: • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, MIS, or Business Administration or relevant experience. • 3-5 years data warehouse/data management and 3-5 years MS SQL Server experience preferred. • Prefer experience with Microsoft SQL Server tools including SQL Server Management Studio, SSIS and SSRS. • Ability to apply systematic thinking to generate solutions and multiple assessments of business situations. • Ability to communicate new ideas and concepts to people at a various levels of the organization. • Thorough understanding of database models and ability to develop the models and related structures. • Ability to follow detailed procedures to ensure accuracy in documentation and data. • Ability to establish and maintain high standards and measures while working with deadlines. • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and effectively demonstrate team building attitude and skills. • Proficient in Windows environment using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Internet Explorer and OneNote.   Apply online with Sogeti USA today!  www.us.sogeti.com Must be a US Citizen/Permanment Resident.   http://bull.hn/l/UBKF/3"
