The company have around 600 employees worldwide and support over 20,000 customers globally, including many household names within the Fortune 1000. The role The company are fanatical about Technical Support and understand that providing Support with a difference is critical to their business Model. The company have a client base built of over 20,000 which has been established by word of mouth and referral and do not employ any Sales staff! The Support environment is extremely diverse and no day will be the same. Supporting a range of products and add on’s you will provide remote support to customers based on a mixture of Operating Systems with many different complex layers. The requirements You have to be a Support Rockstar, enjoy solving Customers problems and diving into the unknown! Good knowledge of Unix/Linux is essential Good knowledge of Databases MySQL/Oracle/DB2/MSSQL etc... Good knowledge of Web & Applications Servers JBOSS/APACHE/TOMCAT etc... Good knowledge of Web based languages HTML/XML/CSS/JavaScript etc... Good knowledge of Java/J2EE Experience with JIRA/Confluence/Lighthouse/Agile Project/Fogbugz etc... Experience with buildbots and IDE’s is an advantage What do i do next?
