All resumes to pmarx@galentechsolutions.com "RESPONSIBILITIES • Design and develop high-volume, transactional systems • Writing high quality, robust, scalable and extensible code Skills/Experience Required: • 6+ years of experience in the development and implementation of Java and J2EE business applications. • Excellent experience of Object-Oriented Design & Development web paradigms and deep experience in working with database-driven websites. • Past experience of test-driven development (TDD), refactoring and continuous integration. • Strong in data structure and algorithms. • Strong understanding of and experience working with Spring Framework, Hibernate and JUnit. • Strong leadership skills and the ability to provide technical guidance and mentorship to other software engineers. • BA/BS in Computer Science or other hard science “Nice to have” Skills • Experience designing and developing eCommerce solutions. • Backend integration is a strong plus. • Experience working with Open Source Software tools and products • Understanding of and experience working with SOA using XML Web Services is a plus. • Experience in C or C++ a plus."
