"Job Title: Automation test lead - Indias Top IT Services Company Sector : IT -Testing/ QA Job Responsibilities: Knowledge: • Extensive knowledge of that testing lifecycle and of a variety of relevant testing techniques. • Extensive knowledge of automation test frameworks and tools. • Good understanding of defect management processes and tools. • Hands-on Experience in QTP (min 3-4 years) • Hands-on Experience in middleware testing • Hands-on experience in designing and implementing re-usable and robust Automation test framework • Development and application of test automation concepts, practices and procedures • Maintenance of existing test suites and scripts as new enhancements and fixes are introduced into the software product • Development and maintenance of project QA deliverables, such as test strategies, test plans, test scripts, etc. • Collaboration with the QA and Development resources to plan, develop and execute automation test suites • QA project definition, scope, and estimation for assigned projects • Identify opportunities for applying automation testing to reduce manual testing efforts, improve the quality of testing, increase the test coverage, etc. • Ability to identify and communicate issues/risks applying technical and root cause analysis skills • Lead and direct the work of other automation engineers • Training/Mentoring of QA team on automation best practices and the integration/use of automation tools • Work with Management, Development, and system Operations to assure full software development lifecycle processes are adhered to • Identify and procure appropriate tools and technology • Maximize productivity and repeatability Qualification: BE / BTech or equivalent Yrs. Of Exp.: 5 - 8 yrs.
