"Our client, a well established locally owned enterprise requires a Senior Structural Engineer with excellent technical skills to join their expanding team in Wellington. The consultancy’s field of expertise include general and specialized structures, roading, subdivisions and other civil work such as bridge design and assessment, land survey, field testing, design and construction management. The role: • Work closely with the civil team on mid to large sized infrastructure projects. • The projects include seismic assessment of structural damage of historical buildings followed by preservation design of the infrastructure. • Work on conceptual design for repairs and strengthening of multi-storeyed buildings to meet current seismic requirements. You will need: • Degree, in Civil / Structural Engineering and ideally be Chartered. • Have 7+ years of structural engineering experience including well developed skills in structural analysis and design in a consultancy. • Experience in seismic design. • Project management skills as well as AutoCAD and ETABS software. • Excellent communication and report writing skills.
