"Berean Group is seeking Sr. Business Technical Analyst- MITA SME Multiple Locations throughout US Travel: 75% - 100% (if not located in specified location) Duration: Temp to Hire Remote Work Option: Yes Citizenship / Work Authorization: Must be US Citizen or Perm Resident Only Job Description: • The Sr. Business Technical Analyst- MITA SME will develop alternatives for solutions to problems and, where appropriate, assists in implementing improved or new business processes or automated systems. • Develops 'As Is' and 'To Be' models as part of re-engineering projects Identify business processes affected by CMS Seven Conditions and Standards • Identify and document deficiencies in existing healthcare administration business processes and information systems • Develop gap analyses and transition plans • Responsible for interfacing with Client and business users • Facilitate technical training, discovery, and assessment sessions with subject matter experts Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree • Experience conducting MITA assessment activities • Understand standard Medicaid system architectures, networks, and data exchange formats that promote interoperability • Ability to review and summarize system documentation for common systems associated with a Medicaid Enterprise (MMIS, Eligibility, DSS/DW, EDMS, Workflow management, POS/PBM, MARS/SURS, and Web Portal) • Ability to analyze and identify functional gaps between As Is and To Be technical capabilities for Medicaid Enterprise systems • Ability to apply industry best practices and future state/federal mandates to existing systems • Previously participated on large, complex system projects Additional Qualifications: • Working knowledge of HIPAA, ARRA, ACA, and other security requirements • Knowledge of industry standards, PMI, CMMI, NIST, and IEEE required • Trained facilitator or Project Management Certification is a plus For More Job description and to apply click on the links below: [ http://bereangroup.com/jobInfo.do?jobId=116797 ] You can also mail your resume at resumes@bereangroup.com and rita.d@bereangroup.com with the job # 116797 in the subject line.
