The role will entail working on a broad range of matters: • draft and negotiate contracts and assist with managing on-going contractual relationships with suppliers and partners; • provide advice and approval of marketing and point of sale material; • assist the business in managing disputes with suppliers, which may involve taking steps to preserve or enforce contractual rights, engaging in settlement discussions, instructing outside counsel, managing and making recommendations in respect of ongoing dispute resolution proceedings; • ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations; • in coordination with other subject matter experts within the Group Legal Department, advise management and employees on a wide range of legal issues that may arise; • provide general Intellectual Property advice on a range of issues and co-ordinate with external IP resource.
