Monitors key technology trends, industry standards, and directions in the marketplace. 2. Guidance and direction on the design of the IT architecture with other IT staff associates and teams. 3. Responsible for standards in the context of enterprise architecture and domain architecture principles. 4. Enterprise focal point for architectural review process on technology refreshes and standards compliance. 5. Consult, assess/audit, design/engineer and interview customers to determine highly technical requirements and convert requirements into an actionable scope of work. ·Perform analysis of networking problems, as well as provide highest-level crisis management. ·Facilitate design reviews for proposed architectures. ·Provide recommendations on viability, implementation strategies and optimal implementation of client solutions. ·Demonstrate expert level knowledge of network topologies and conditions. Ensure changes to network topologies are made with minimal down-time. ·Engineers, configures, and leads the design, configuration and deployment of VMWare and SAN/storage and other infrastructure devices. Supervisory Responsibilities: Will supervise 2 associates.  Requirements  Local Area Networks · Wide Area Networks · Wireless LAN · Virtual Private Networking · Cisco Fiber Channel SAN Switching Specific Manufacturers Preferred: · Cisco · Aruba · Fortinet · Solarwinds   Operates with a high degree of autonomy and accountability.  Possess a working knowledge of the IT industry and technologies.  Possess a working knowledge of architectural and development methodologies.  Possess an ability to identify implications and alternatives in business terms of technology tradeoffs.  Proven experience in documenting and defining architectures using tools such as Rational Rose.  Possesses a working understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, Active Directory, Load Balancing, Caching, System Capacity Planning, Modeling, Application Design, Package implementation and Integration Principles.  Possesses a working understanding of server hardware, operating systems and interoperability from multiple platforms including IBM legacy, midrange, Unix, and Windows NT & 2000.  Possess a working understanding of Enterprise Application Integration (EAI),  Experience with Software development life cycle Methodologies, e.g., MSF, RUP.  Teamwork: - Maximizes synergies across multiple project teams. - Aligns with expectations an... http://bull.hn/l/XONK/1"
