"Berean Group is seeking an Essbase Application Architect (Business Process Management) Location: Hermitage, TN Duration: Full-Time Citizenship / Work Authorization: Must be US Citizen or Perm Resident Only Job Overview: • Providing technical and architectural leadership on various LOB and enterprise applications, particularly financial applications for analytics, planning, forecasting & pricing • Creating project and application architecture deliverables that are consistent with architecture principles, standards, methodologies, and best practices. • Responsible for defining technical evaluation criteria for product and technology selection and determining technical approaches to ensure all architectural solutions result in a coherent systems design. • Applied research and development, prototyping, and vendor evaluations • Advising and consulting leadership on technology costs, benefits, and implementation requirements. Qualifications: • Proven track record of 5+ years in web and distributed application implementation; At least 3 years in the application/solution architecture area. • A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related discipline. While an advanced degree is preferred, the value is placed on the extent of the relevant experience and accomplishments • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of architecting, designing & building of both ASO and BSO Essbase cubes and using Essbase Studio to build applications • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of dimensional data, metadata, OLAP cubes, calc scripts, report scripts. • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of both MAXL and Windows Scripting • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of JQuery, JavaScript and HTML technologies • Knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), its principles, and patterns at enterprise level. • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of Microsoft .NET Frameworks (preferably C#) and SQL Server. • Knowledge of Unified Modeling Language (UML) and Object-Oriented Design (OOD). • Experience with Microsoft and/or SAP frameworks, with extensive knowledge of technical design patterns and anti-patterns. Travel: Minimal travel (10%) is required.
