Job Description: Position Overview:In this position you will be responsible for creating and executing test plans for design verification, system testing, and compliance testing wireless systems that include radio and baseband hardware, and protocol stack software. You will also be responsible for test development including definition and implementation of test system hardware and software to support manual and automated testing. Day to day activities will include testing wireless SoC software and hardware, working with design engineers to analyze and troubleshoot problems, interpreting wireless specifications, organizing test results, compiling test reports, and logging defects into the defect tracking system.Skills/Experience:Qualified candidates must have BSEE with 0 - 5 years of experience. A technical background in wireless communication systems such as cellular, Bluetooth, FM, or WLAN with testing experience is a necessity. To succeed in this position, you must possess knowledge of standard lab equipment including Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer, Protocol analyzers, and RF test equipment. Familiarity with TCL or similar scripting language, VEE/LabView, and knowledge or experience of the Bluetooth wireless standard is a plus.Education:Required: Bachelors, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience"
