Business Development Manager in Toronto, ON Canada Smarteralloys BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER The Opportunity Smarter Alloys is searching for a talented, motivated and technically inclined self-starter to lead its business development efforts to help bring its leading edge technology to clients around the globe. Responsibilities will include but may not be limited to conducting market, competitive landscape and business needs analyses, developing strategic opportunity assessments, developing pitches and presentations to support new business pursuits, as well as managing and developing new business pipeline reports. In addition, the Business Development Manager will support the development of client-specific solutions. Key Responsibilities     •    Drive revenue growth and help the organization reach its defined annual revenue goals     •    Develop and sell real value-based solutions that support clients' business growth     •    Establish Trusted Advisor relationships with customers to acquire Joint Development Agreements     •    Develop, manage and report on SA's pipeline of new business opportunities and pursuits     •    Develop proposals, presentations, and supporting materials and present to Senior Executives     •    Manage multiple new business pursuits simultaneously     •    Proactively identify new business opportunities through speaking with clients and/or prospects     •    Actively engage in driving new pursuits     •    Build relationships and work collaboratively with others     •    Utilize a variety of tools to conduct research (e.g. competitive and industry analyses), and then summarize and synthesize findings     •    Develop and then apply relevant case studies and consumer insight research/trends and competitive/industry research/insight to develop relevant and actionable solutions Qualifications and Experience     •    Bachelors/ Master’s Degree in Engineering in Material Science, or alternative (Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineering)     •    3 - 5 years business development experience, preferably working with new ventures     •    Proven ability to identify client needs and issues and convert outcomes into actionable requirements (for feature enhancement)     •    Proven ability to operate under tight deadlines while maintaining multiple projects     •    Successful implementation of project based work     •    Well developed negotiation, problem solving, and people management skills Personal Qualities & Competencies:     •    Highly motivated and proactive self-starter with a strong work ethic and detail orientation     •    Expresses thoughts, ideas, vision in a clear and compelling manner, both written and orally     •    Strong analytical skills     •    Meet business objectives and commitments, work autonomously, accept accountability     •    Ability to forge trusted relationships with prospective clients     •    Proven ability to develop and present a persuasive argument     •    Seeks to continuously develop skills and ... http://bull.hn/l/1152X/6"
