Break the mold and join our exciting home care growth in #Toronto "Homecare Sales (RN, RPN) in Toronto, ON Canada At Qualicare Family Home Healthcare every client is managed by a qualified Case Management Nurse.  We are growing across Toronto and require an RN or RPN with a desire to network, sell, promote and perform case management.  Become part of our exciting expansion. Qualifications Registered nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario Minimum of 4 years relevant experience as a Registered Nurse Knowledge of community resources and roles of healthcare professionals Community nursing experience or discharge planning experience is an asset Previous private home care industry sales experience Case management experience or certificate is an asset Knowledge of healthcare organizations and models used in community Excellent communication and relationship development skills Competency and comfort with computer based case tools Second language is an asset Must have a valid driver’s license  In the Role you will: Network in the community as a proud advocate of the Qualicare brand Leverage your considerable existing contacts of healthcare professionals including discharge planners, CCAC managers, physicians, specialists, clinics, care facilities and seniors associations. Build and strengthen a larger contact network throughout Toronto area hospitals Perform professional and community presentations to promote Qualicare services Develop new client referrals and nurture new client relationships that arise through your contacts Assist client-patients and their families in the development and delivery of their individualized care plans.   Participate in the intake, hiring, scheduling and supervision of Personal Support Workers and RPNs. Engage directly with the Qualicare management team, business development representatives, and other staff as an integral part of the company’s growth and mission to become Canada’s stand-out leader in the delivery of private home healthcare services.  Possess and demonstrate the personality traits required to confidently participate in business development through relationship building with client referral sources, hospitals, agencies and advocacy groups.
