Comprehend and translate AP/ROUTER requirements into engineering features. Write functional and design specifications for those features. Integrate and troubleshoot component level as well as system level issues for successful completion of product and software releases with aggressive timelines. Qualification: 4 years hands-on experience on software project development in a network company environment with demonstrated experience in AP/ROUTER networking protocols. 2-3 years of experience as Lead. MS or BS in EE or CS with 4+ years working experience desired. Experience working in a multi-national development team environment preferred. Required Skills: Experience in design and development of networking software features and/or device driver under Active Ethernet embedded Linux environment, and with exposure to SDLC methodology and tools. Well disciplined in software development process with the ability to write design specs and coding. Proficiency in programming in C/C++, gcc, Makefile, shell scripting and version control (svn, cvs). Good at L2/L3 gateway/router protocols, including QoS, VLAN, PPPoE, NAT, TR-069, 802.11n, DLNA & Samba with USB interface"
