Their 5 NICHE ACTIVITIES positioned as one of the world leaders, both for equipment and aftermarket sales and services in the following niche markets: Cooling Systems (CS) Process Heat Exchangers (PHE) Air Quality Systems (AQS) Chimneys Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSG) & Waste Heat Boilers (WHB) They are looking out for: POSITION TITLE:Manufacturing Manager REPORTS TO(Position Title):CEO NUMBER OF DIRECT REPORTS:8-10 TOTAL NUMBER OF REPORTS:70 LOCATION:Umbergaon DEPARTMENT:Production POSITION SUMMARY:Describe the overall purpose of this position. Include dimensions (e.g., number of customers, amount of revenue, budgets or payroll information, cost saving objectives) and areas of responsibility. Responsible for the production, assembly and management activities in the plant.Leading and assisting teams in assembly processes, methods, manufacturing systems and technologies that will result in highly producible, quality products and manufacturing systems that are performing and cost effective. Responsible for the implementation of Lean Six Sigma. 1.Review and analyze manufacturing methods in sub-assembly, assembly, machining and fabrication areas. Make recommendations for implementing of Flow/Lean/Six Sigma Manufacturing principles. 2.Lead and participate in team activities involving the implementation of Flow/Lean/Six Sigma Manufacturing in plants throughout Hamon. Maintain project objectives and financial documentation. 3.Maintain a high level of technical knowledge in advanced manufacturing technology in the areas of plant productivity, time standards, line balancing, line design/layout, simulation modeling, manpower planning, KANBAN.Remain an authority in these fields through training participation in professional societies and/or organizations. 4.Assist with instructing Flow/Lean/Six Sigma Manufacturing techniques to other managers throughout Hamon Shriram Cottrell Pvt Ltd. Participate in continuous improvement and maintenance of Flow/Lean/Six Sigma Manufacturing training material. 5.Review existing and proposed product designs for ease of manufacture and make recommendations that will enhance the quality and producibility of the product. Develop and maintain manufacturing design and standardization guidelines. Participate in design and manufacturing process reviews 6. Lead, manage and drive the entire plant management team in alignment with the delivery timelines, quality rules and internal customer demands in producing and assembling top quality products MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:List the minimum education and/or experience necessary to fulfill the responsibilities"
