DGS is seeking Oracle DBA for 9 month contract in Richmond, VA. (Needs evaluation will take place at 6 months. May be opportunity for position to be recruited as a full-time state position after 9 months.) • 3 years of experience providing technical support of oracle 11g database systems on linux including installation, configuration, maintenance, performance monitoring, backup and recovery, space management. • 1 - 3 years of experience supporting Oracle RAC 11gr2 • 1 - 3 years of experience RMAN, ASM, Dataguard, data pump, flashback. • Must have sound communication skills with management, development teams, systems administrators and vendors. • Strong analytical and problem solving skills. • Willingness to work off hours, when needed, for maintenance and troubleshooting.
