Bharat Electronics Ltd. A Navratna Company & India’s Premier professional electronics Company, requires Junior Commissioned Officers or above from Indian Air Force who are retired / retiring on or before 30.06.2011 with 3 years Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering and having a having minimum 15 years of post qualification (Professional) experience, on short term employment basis in the Executive cadre for a period of 5 years for RADAR SBU of its Ghaziabad Unit.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Installation & Commissioning of Radars including flight trials.
- Calibrations and preventive maintenance checks for Radar subsystems.
- Logistics support & store management at site. Upkeep of spares at site and dispatch of faulty spares to BEL.
- Compiling data about defects / downtime / preventive maintenance at sites.
- Hardware & Software up gradations and modifications.
- Repair of equipment (fault diagnostics and rectification using test instruments at the sites and in the factory at Ghaziabad).
AREA OF EXPERIENCE:
15 years of post qualification experience as a Radar / Electrical Fitter / MT Fitter in Maintenance of Radars for Radar Fitters / DG sets & A/c’s for Electrical Fitters and Vehicles & Mechanical structures for MT Fitters.
AGE:
Upper age limit: 48 years as on 30.06.2011 (relaxation in case of SC/ST/OBC/PHP Candidates as per Govt. guidelines).The upper age limit may be relaxed in the case of deserving candidates at the discretion of management.
PAY SCALE:
Rs. 12600-3%-32500. TA/DA for out station duty will be given as per company rules.
SELECTION:
Selection will be through a written test and/or interview. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS / INFORMATION:
• The selected candidates may be posted at any of the following Radar sites:
Gwalior, Jammu, Awantipur, Kodikarai, Hasimara, CAR Nicobar, Leh, Pune, Pathankot, Ambala, Adampur, Srinagar, Jodhpur, Bagdogra, Tejpur, Bareilly, Sirsa, Halwara, Bidar, Hyderabad, Kalaikunda, Jamnagar, Bhuj, Chabua.
• The short term employment would initially be for a period of 5 years and may be extended based on the requirement of the company and performance of the candidate.
• Candidates employed in the Govt. / Quasi- Govt. & other PSU’s should apply through proper channel or produce NOC at the time of test / interview. Candidates still serving in the Air Force must be able to get relieved and produce discharge certificate at the time of their joining.
