Position Requirements • Minimum bachelor’s degree (preferred Master’s degree) in mechanical engineering • Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in body structure design • OEM Experience (preferably Ford, GM or Chrysler with strong contacts) • BIW and Closures experience • Experience in crash durability and/or NVH simulations • Familiar with NASTRAN, Abaqus, Hypermesh, LS-DYNA • Have good communication skills • Self-starter and work with little direction • Ability to obtain, manage, and run projects for OEM’s as a tier one supplier to achieve mass and cost reductions in the body structure. Manage SEM Lab equipment and consumables 2. Lead studies related to product development – grain size & microstructure analysis 3. Establish methodologies for different modes of defect analysis 4. Expand the scope of SEM use to different possible analytical functions 5. Perform SEM analysis for inclusion rating on steels, as needed 6. Champion in coordinating SEM studies to resolve issues on existing parts or for a new product / new part or die development 7. Prepare reports and report to Operations / Quality Management & Supervision – maintain records on SEM Lab web page 8. Review of defective steel from customer claims and field failures to aid plant in troubleshooting and correcting quality issues 9. Liaison with academic institutions and external Laboratories on studies pertaining to steel characteristics and properties Position Requirements: 1. Understanding of SEM equipment and software 2. Understanding of sheet steel specifications and their forming characteristics 3. Able to use Microsoft Office and other software like OMS, MES Level 3 4. Good communication skills, written and verbal 5. Able to travel Education and Experience: 1. Position Purpose: To maximize sales within identified OEM accounts by developing strategies to communicate steel product application to customers. Position Responsibilities: • Responsible for securing and renewing orders and arranging delivery dates. • Sells and promotes company products and services to major accounts by contacting and visiting established customers and developing new prospects. • Develops long and short range sales forecasts of steel products by compiling, reviewing and analyzing sales data, determines potential new products for divisional consideration by screening and developing market information and evaluating new product proposals. • Conducts studies and prepare sales information relative to sales trends, assembly and procurement programs, price trends, and customer requirements. • Assists in developing and preparing sales presentations on proposed changes in steel allocation policies, marketing reviews, and product studies • Assist management in the identification of quota and revenue opportunities by account/region. • Act as an interface between the Sales Department and the Product Development Team.
