Post Resume -Get Paid by Employers at Resumark .com Subject: DIRECT CLIENT REQUIREMENT Looking for Oracle Apss DBA in Cupertino, CA Sushant Gupta (Open Networker) posted a job: DIRECT CLIENT REQUIREMENT Looking for Oracle Apss DBA in Cupertino, CA "Title: Agile PLM Skills: Agile PLM and Oracle DBA Location: Cupertino, CA Duration: 12+ months Main Objective: Support of Oracle environments running Oracle Application Agile PLM including the database layer. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Evaluation and implementation of new database and Agile PLM application features/functions * Performance tuning, profiling, trending, troubleshooting and issue resolution across complex Oracle environments, as well as some support of non-Oracle databases including MYSQL * Analyzing, solving and creating solutions for challenging performance tuning situations. All standard database and application administrative tasks, such as: proactive performance tuning, load testing, monitoring and profiling, trouble-shooting, back-up and recovery, partitioning, replication, installations, capacity planning and configurations on an as needed basis as well as applying patches and upgrades. * Knowledge transfer to other team members in the use and best practices concerning Oracle databases and Oracle application, while keeping abreast of emerging technologies and features. * Monitor and manage databases and Oracle application through their lifecycle and validate the technical solutions meets the business requirements and configuration. Assist in overall architecture and infrastructure design. * Part of the team to troubleshoot production / performance issues, including database recoveries and off-hour database maintenances as required. * Monitor, evaluate and advise on all database and application issues that relate to any system or development project. * Develop documentation and other materials to support ongoing database development, change control, production maintenances and DBA tasks. * Provide both Development and Production support for database and application change control * Proactively manage and implement database and application security and keep abreast of current security best practices.
