Due to continued success and company growth, we are seeking to hire additional Customer Support Engineers who possess VERY STRONG NETWORKING SKILLS AND LINUX KNOWLEDGE. Training in Europe offered Job Description The Role: Reporting to Senior Director of Customer Support and Deployment, you will be an an integral part of the companies deployment and support organization and responsible Responsible for the deployment and technical support of solutions remotely or on customer site in the USA and working closely with the technical team in Europe. Handling incidents, problems and improvements for the on going technical support on site or remotely, according to need. Results driven person capable of working independently and within a team to resolve time critical deployment and production issues Skill Required 4 year technical degree (Computer Science preferred) Four + years of experience working with mobile carriers UNIX/Linux system administration and highly knowledgeable in TCP/IP networking is a MUST Familiar in mobile network technologies including l3-7 switching and load balancing, redundancy (A/P, A/A) and high performance systems Knowledgeable in customer support processes, tooling and troubleshooting and familiar with the following protocols: HTTP, FTP, RTSP Knowledge of common open source software, application servers, Weblogic/Jboss, Microsoft Office, Oracle and/or MySQL administration an advantage Travel 30% to mobile customer sites and provide some "on-call" service from office or home Benefits Competitive Country United States of America City, region New Jersey Discipline Telecom Sector IT and Telecommunications apply usa@chronosconsulting.com"
