"We require an Oracle Applications suite HRMS support consultant to service our client base and Oracle Practice team members. Working in a team, the consultant will complete tasks and deliverables required to resolve customer support calls in line with the Service Level Agreements and will keep the Service Delivery Manager informed of progress and issues in a timely manner. Similarly, the consultant will be involved in the transfer of appropriate applications skills and knowledge to the other members of the support team. The role responsibilities include but are not restricted to: •Trouble shooting and fault resolution of customer calls/incidents •Advising/guiding on module configuration •Providing advice and guidance on Payroll functionality/configuration •Advising/guiding on security set-up •Configure the application where necessary •Identify the need to implement a customization •Provide functional / business analysis expertise on (minor/major) project/enhancements •Act as a business analyst to gather requirements and present findings to clients / project team •Adhere to the Practice Quality procedures & standards •Liaise with other team members and other areas of the business where appropriate •Keep the management team up to date on work activities •Will be require to participate in Pre-Sales work when required •Training of end users and other support team members where appropriate on new functionality or business process Job Requirements Technical Skills and Experience: Essential: •Expertise in of Oracle HRMS application •Experience of configuration and systems administration of Oracle HRMS application •Oracle PL*SQL and SQL language •Oracle API’s Desirable •Oracle Payroll 11i •Oracle Discoverer •Oracle Reports •Oracle Forms •Experience of working in a Support environment is advantageous.
