All interested parties: Please send all questions, and/or resumes with salary requirements to luke@samuelbranchps.com Job Summary: The Senior Systems Analyst will utilize the SDLC methodology and provide the communications interface between Information Technology and the business community in the investigation, identification, and documentation of business application requirements and technical solutions based on applicable technologies for either the enhancement of existing applications or foster the development of new applications. Accountable for working with and meeting the needs of the business area thru collaboration of business requirements and delivery of comprehensive, secure and quality applications. Responsibilities: Assist in identification and coordination of business needs for projects requiring IT solutions Create and maintain effective working relationships with multiple business contacts to identify, plan and coordinate various system requests Assist in defining project requirements and perform business analysis through the use of industry standard practices including development and documenting use cases Work closely with business customers, application support teams and various infrastructure groups to manage a variety of system requests Assist in development of business processes and identification of best practices to ensure the most effective and efficient processes and operations Develop management reports, presentations, procedures, flowcharts, standard communication pieces and strategies for business plans and processes Analyze, define, and document requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware, operating system environment, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks and controls, and outputs Maintain regular written communication on project status with Team lead, project management, and IS management Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree, preferably in business, computer science or related field or equivalent experience 5+ years of systems analysis and application development experience Preferred Qualifications: Thorough understanding of computer software, hardware, and database concepts and issues Experience working with various technologies Strong problem solving and business analysis skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience writing proposals and giving presentations Ability to coordinate multiple complex requests simultaneously Ability to work under pressure and strict timelines Ability to see the “big picture” and understand how tasks interconnect and impact other tasks"
