Activation Laboratories Ltd. is looking to immediately fill a position in our Life Sciences Division. For this position, the ideal candidate would be a highly skilled, self-motivated individual with strong communication skills that would enjoy the opportunity to work in a team-oriented, scientifically challenging work environment. The primary responsibilities of the successful candidate will be: - to execute and validate methods for the analysis of both pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical samples - data manipulation and reporting of final analysis data, proper data storage and archiving - laboratory analysis scheduling and sample logging - supervision, training, and evaluation of laboratory technicians - maintenance of equipment in working order - ensuring analysis and sample log books are properly kept - equipment set-up and calibration - laboratory housekeeping - calibration of balances - make computer backups Required Qualifications: - Excellent knowledge and significant hands-on experience (at least two years) with HPLC are required - Knowledge and hands-on experience with XRD, DSC, TGA, FTIR-ATR, Laser Particle Size, and UV/Vis would be an asset - This position requires at least a BSc in the physical sciences or Chemistry with at least 2 years experience in a GMP compliant environment - Strong preference will be given to candidates with HPLC experience using Empower and ChemStation software Additional Information Activation Laboratories offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
