"Intellias opens a position of Java Developer to work in a project starting from scratch with aim to deliver a new generation social media service, intended to be in competition with mainstream market players. The responsibilities include but are not limited with: - Software engineering on a position of Scrum/XP team member - Close collaboration with the product owner and parallel development streams - Participation in software architecture and design - Proactive participation in the quality control Requirements: 1. 2+ years of experience in software engineering, 1+ years of experience in Java web development 2. OOAD, design patterns (GoF and core J2EE patterns) 3. Spring, Servlets/JSP and ORM technologies (JPA, Hibernate) 4. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, WS; experience with appropriate frameworks 5. RDBMS, SQL. Experience with PostgreSQL is an advantage 7. Understanding of commercial software engineering process. Experience with Scrum and XP practices is an advantage 8. Fast learning, high level of responsibility, proactivity, aspiration for high quality of work 9. Written English Preferred skills: 1. Version control, build, testing and continuous integration tools (SVN, GIT, Maven, JUnit, Selenium, CruiseControl, Hudson, Bamboo) 2. Experience in social media and Web 2.0 domain 3. Knowledge of audio formats (MP3, AAC, Ogg Vorbis, FLV) and streaming technologies 4. Knowledge of Flex / Flash architecture, experience with ActionScript We offer: 1.
