Title: Project Managers Location: 1 PM in Sun Prairie, 1 PM in NY Type: Corp to Corp/1099 or W2 Rate: DOE Duration: Long term Job ID: 1701-039PM JOB DESCRIPTION Project Management Skills - Experience and thorough understanding of the PMI-based Project Management Life Cycle - Lead project team to deliver business and technical objectives on-time, within budget and to specification - Create MS Project schedule using Dynamic Scheduling, and utilize the schedule to communicate and manage the work - Report status, issues and risks according to PMO processes and schedule - Prepare project for governance gate approvals - Demonstrated experience in managing projects in risk and dependency rich environment Professional Background - Experience in delivering technical solutions from concept, selection, installation, testing and implementation - General understanding of data-related projects and infrastructure - Have worked in medium to large corporate environments, insurance (P&C) and/or financial services industry - Experience with the SDLC, familiarity with agile/iterative methods not required but preferred - Experience with transformational frameworks CMMI, PSP/TSP and/or business process re-engineering (BPR) not required but preferred - Background in business analysis not required but preferred Personal Skills - Comfortable relaying project details to “C” level senior management - Engage directly with internal business clients to understand their business objectives and translate them into delivery plans - Collaborate with other project and program managers to manage project interdependencies - Demonstrated ability to resolve conflicts, address issues and conduct pro’s and con’s evaluations toward resolution - Develop and gain agreement with stakeholders on project plans and budgets - Ability to multi-task, requiring experience in technology, business acumen, coordination skills, and supervisory competence to effectively and efficiently manage the progression and ultimate completion About MicroAgility: (An Award Winning Business and Technology Consultancy) MicroAgility is a business and technology consulting company.
