"The UK Recruitment Manager is a senior high profile recruitment role responsible for managing and leading our recruitment, candidate sourcing and Employer Branding Strategy across our business divisions in the UK. Main Responsibilities • Drives strategic and operational attraction, sourcing and hiring activities across the business divisions in the UK providing support to all client groups and ensuring critical target groups are properly reflected. • Accountable for building and sustaining an effective and competent in-house recruitment team within the Roche Welwyn Garden City site taking into account relevant development opportunities. • Drives alignment with the Roche Burgess Hill site, and other Roche sites globally • Champions continuous improvement in the standard of the recruitment & Employer Branding process (quality, time, cost) in line with the Corporate HR frameworks and benchmarks. • Ensures hiring managers and HR Team are trained on best practices in recruitment, selection, and assessment techniques. • Establishes a proactive candidate sourcing strategy leveraging social media and professional networks. • Sets up and manages Preferred Supplier Lists on commercially attractive terms and monitors performance in terms of cost, quality and responsiveness according to the guidelines set by Corporate HR. Qualifications • A successful track record in setting up and leading an in-house recruitment team in a large scale international business (preferably within the Pharmaceutical/Life Science industry). (in-house/ corporate recruiting experience required) • Excellent communication and relationship management skills. • High degree of initiative and enthusiasm. • Strong self-starter with good team, social and problem-solving skills. • Service and goal-oriented mindset. • Ability to work under pressure. • Work experience in a multinational matrix organization. • Strong project management skills. • Fluent English – written and spoken.
