Post Resume -Get Paid by Employers at Resumark .com Subject: Sr. Principal Scientist in Ridgefield, CT - send resumes to dan.wienczkowski@rightthinginc.com Dan Wienczkowski, ACIR, CIR, CDR, CSSR, PRC posted a job: Sr. Principal Scientist in Ridgefield, CT - send resumes to dan.wienczkowski@rightthinginc.com "Title: Biotherapeutics Sr. Principal Scientist - Pharmacology Location: Ridgefield, CT Responsibilities: - Design and implement strategies for the functional characterization and optimization of antibody-based therapeutics in support of discovery research programs - Manage a group of Ph.D. and non-Ph.D. scientists to ensure high quality results and timely project support - Lead antibody-based drug discovery project teams - Effectively drive collaborations with internal colleagues in the antibody lead identification, engineering and purification groups and with external organizations - Coordinate and participate in the evaluation of biologic-based therapeutic technologies - Maintain excellent communication within the Biotherapeutics Dept. and across all research project teams and departments - Ensure all R&D activities meet the highest quality standards and are conducted in accordance with all regulations and safety procedures and practices Requirements: - Ph.D. degree in cell biology, pharmacology, a biomedical science or equivalent experience - At least 8 years experience in pharmaceutical industry drug discovery research including supervisory responsibilities - Experience in the use of ex vivo and in vitro studies to investigate disease-related mechanisms - Demonstrated technical expertise in the functional characterization of therapeutic antibodies - Comprehensive knowledge of the principles of biochemical and cell-based functional assays with strong data analysis and troubleshooting skills - Demonstrated ability to effectively lead drug discovery projects on both tactical and strategic levels - Strong verbal and written communication skills Please email your resume to - dan.wienczkowski@rightthinginc.com"
