Position:Developer/Programmer Analyst – ASP, ASP.NET, C#,.NET

Location:         NV.

Duration:         Six to nine months

 

 Duties:

 

Will assist with the internal software engineering staff in the on-going development of a Business License solution for multi-agency data interaction (sending, processing, and receiving) across multiple jurisdictions spanning the geographic area of Southern Nevada.  The documentation of the solution is also expected.

 

·                     Demonstrates proficiencies in Microsoft ASP, ASP.NET.  C#.NET desirable.

·                     Demonstrates professional organization, documentation, communication and interpersonal skills. 

·                     Familiarly with MS SQL Server databases.

·                     Creates new or modifies existing programs.

·                     Plans and develops test data to validate new or modified programs; designs input and output forms and documents. 

·                     Troubleshoots software problems as needed, for customers, other agencies and information systems personnel. 

·                     Test and evaluates alternative solutions and recommend and implement appropriate applications design. 

·                     Maintains and communicate accurate status of work performed.  Interviews functional and technical staff to gather documentation required for analysis of current system architecture and application requirements.  

·                     Contributes to the efficiency and effectiveness of the team's service by offering suggestions or direction as a member of the team. 

 Special Skills:

 

·                     Good level experience in general ASP and ASP.NET programming required.

·                     Good level experience in C# .NET programming desired.

·                     Experience in systems analysis, design, programming required.

·                     Experience in the design and construction of client/server applications required.

 

 Preferred Skills:

 

·                     Experience working in a government environment.

·                     Experience working with licensing applications.
