As a growing boutique firm, the Vice President role is a pivotal position as it oversees all of our operations and account management. This individual will serve as a mentor, manager and lead example for all account teams on client management, quality assurance, staff development and strategic guidance. The Vice President will also be involved in new business development, operational leadership and product/services development. The position is located in mid town Manhattan and there is no relo for this position. Only candidates who live within a reasonable commute to NYC should apply. We are seeking an individual who has exceptional leadership capabilities, a strong work ethic and a passion for public relations and social media. General Requirements: - 8+ years public agency leadership experience - Bachelor's degree (required) or Master's degree (preferred) in public relations, marketing, communications, journalism or related field - Experience in leading technology, healthcare and professional services account teams - Broad base of experience in core competencies of public relations including media relations, analyst relations, thought leadership, strategic counsel, etc. - Demonstrates a strong understanding of social media concepts and platforms (required) and has engaged in social media or led projects in social media on behalf of clients (preferred).
