"Position Title: Manager Finance and Commercial Location: Islamabad Sector: Manufacturer of Radio Communications Equipment Company Type: Multinational Company Salary: 213K to 285K Essential Requirements: -- MBA from LUMS/IBA Karachi -- or prestigious foreign university AND Electrical/Electronics/Telecom (or related) Engineering degree (preferred) OR Chartered Accountant with experience in "Big 4" Accounting company -- About 4 to 8 years work experience -- Recent experience in prestigious local/foreign company -- Recent experience in Finance/Accounting The candidate is responsible for company's overall financial plans and policies along with its accounting practices. This includes directing and controlling the financial, management and cost accounting, taxation, internal audit and treasury functions. Responsibilities: • Prepare and interpret balances sheets, income statements, cash flow statements and statements of retained earnings to report financial information. • Analyze current laws and regulations to maintain appropriate financial practices and examine accounting system elements. • Apply appropriateness, adequacy and reliability of internal control to protect assets and identifies deficiencies. • Identify and apply relevant cost accounting techniques (e.g. activity-based costing). • Carry out credit checks, billing and collection • Ensure optimum cost savings in purchasing and timeliness in debt collection. • Ensure on-time arrival/ delivery of imports/exports. • Ensure compliance with external/internal regulations and policies. • Build strong working relationship with internal and external clients and external bodies. • Check client’s accounts regularly to assess their compliance to company requirements or company’s compliance to their requirements, as per the laid down company rules and regulations. • Purchase of technical items for company assets and re-sale to customers, screening of purchase requisition prior to purchase indent ensuring error free purchase orders. This includes verifying commitments by Sales department during pre-sales period based on information in records or otherwise. • Prepare and record Bank Guarantees (national and international), and follow up with customers for return. • Maintain effective file management system. • Follow up with customer/ branch offices for forms, payment/Bank Guarantee/ inspection note etc. • Develop system and procedures for customs related matters. • Timely collection of Debtors/Debtors control and related data entries thereof. • Inform the persons, departments or offices concerned about invoices and bills raised for future follow-up of payment collection to close the sales. • Liaise and make external agencies such as Forwarding Agents, Vendors, etc. responsive and accountable to company's time sensitive needs. • Reference for import and export rules and procedures and timely dissemination of information on important/ new regulations to the Sales team/Management. • Responsible for domestic movements of Equipment for Sales & Services departments. Requirements: • Degree or Diploma in Business, Accounting , Supply Chain Management or Logistics Management with at least 6 years related working experience • Possess strong negotiation skills and high degree of diligence, accuracy, detail-oriented and analytical • Effective ability to work with people of different levels to address issues and to attain amicable solutions • Good knowledge in Pakistan’s legislated laws in accounting, financial, tax and commercial banking facilities • Good knowledge in Import/Export regulations and procedures Candidate with relevant experience can send there CV at aly.careerpakistan@gmail.com"
