Duties & Responsibilities:The Analyst position within the Valuation Group provides an excellent opportunity to become an expert in valuations and work in a team-oriented environment. The Analyst will serve as the analytical and organizational anchor for the Valuation Group in India. Notably, the Analyst will be responsible for supportingthe Valuation Group in the U.S.by preparing, completing, and ensuring the accuracy of financial models andanalysis. Additionally, the Analyst will play a key role in interacting with clients of the Valuation Group and preparing deliverables for meetings with these clients. The Analyst will also support the domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisition team on pitches and executingdeals. Other specific roles related to the position include those outlined below:
· Building and auditing financial models including Discounted Cash Flow("DCF") and Leveraged Buy-Out ("LBO") analyses
· Writing valuation reports and presentations
· Ensuring the accuracy and quality of both financial models and presentation materials
· Maintaining proprietary valuation databases
· Tracking the capital markets and analyzing any changes within the markets
· Preparing marketing materials for meetings with potential clients
· Supporting the U.S. Valuation Group
· Supporting merger and acquisition bankers in pitching and executing transactions
· Supporting senior bankers for approaching potential buyer universe in India oninternational engagements
Qualifications:
The Analyst position with the Valuation Group offers an excellent learning opportunity. Interested candidatesshould meet the following requirements:
· Assertive and self-motivated, can manage multiple tasks and deadlines ina fast-paced environment
· Excellent analytic foundation with advanced understanding of financialstatements and various valuation methodologies (DCF, LBO, comparable analysis)
· Proficient at financial modeling with advanced Microsoft Excel skills
· Strong writing skills with experience with both PowerPoint and MicrosoftWord reports and presentations
· Effective organizational skills and the aptitude to manage both people and work products
· Strong communication skills and experience interacting with both teammates and clients internationally
· One to two years of professional experience in valuations, corporate finance, fixed income or accounting
· Chartered Accountant or MBA from top tier institution
Training:
The candidates will receive ongoing training in India and 3-4 weeks training in the U.S. on joining
