Education Level Undergraduate Masters Degree Preferred areas of study Electronics IT / Computer Science Job Requirements Technical Expertise Competency Product/Solution experience o Firewall – Juniper SRX, NetScreen, FortiGates o JUNOS and ScreenOS o Strong Cisco/Juniper switching experience o Campus and Enterprise Switching knowledge (RSTP, VLANs, Trunking, 802.1x, Aggregation/Access Design) o IDS / IPS experience – o Application and Web 2.0 Security o Load Balancing and Global Site Selection o Security Event Management – STRM / RSA Archer o VPN experience – IPSec and SSL o Email and web content security o Anti-virus defence – gateway and desktop o RADIUS / TACACS+ authentication o PKI / Certificate Authorities o SSL acceleration / Load balancing o Hosted Environment Security Experience o Enterprise Guest Access – Wireless o IP address management, DNS and DHCP knowledge o Sound debug and troubleshooting skills • Juniper Networks o NetScreen / SRX JUNOS o Infranet Controllers o SSL VPN o STRM / NSM • Fortinet UTM • F5 Big-IP • Infoblox - IPAM Security Design and Consulting/Engineering Experience o Data Center Security Architecture o Enterprise Campus Networks o Branch and Remote Office Connectivity o Private Cloud Network and Security Design Consideration o Ability to understand and articulate a solution blueprint • Lateral consulting • Presentation skills • Verbal communication • Holistic approach • Translate concepts Documentation and Communication Skills o Extremely competent in documentation skills o Written and Oral English skills must be excellent o High Level Design Document o Low Level Design Document o Migration Planning Document o Bespoke Operation Guides and Manual Information Security Expertise o Vulnerability Management o Security Assessment o Gap Analysis o Information Security Policies Documentation o Risk Management Process o Network and Security Audit Operational Security Experience o To assist the customer’s operations team with the preparation of device configurations and to validate configurations for new installations, changes within the network, software upgrades etc o Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to the network and security devices. o Act pro-actively to solve problems within the network and to ensure that the security infrastructure behaviour is sound o Assist the customer’s Security Operations Centre teams to develop and maintain fault diagnosis procedures to support effective fault resolution"
