"We are looking for the US Citizens/ Green Card Holders Residing or who can relocate to East Coast or Chicago Lead / Senior Data Architect The Senior Data Architects provides the Enterprise Data Architecture that includes a vision, strategy, roadmap and governance to ensure the data assets and/or information assets of an organization are used to achieve strategic business goals of capturing, transforming, storing, securing, governing, integrating, and using data in support of business capabilities, analytics and reporting. Responsible for setting enterprise data principles, guidelines, objectives, policies, procedures and standards and developing and maintaining a formal methodology for description of the data and data structures, storing, archiving and retrieving relevant data within usage context. With the support of Data Architect and IM Team members, provide data definitions/semantic vocabulary, Meta data references, data models, data flow diagrams, metadata management, business semantics, data governance and metadata workflow management. Provide reviews and governance for the sets up of centralized and/or federated metadata registry / semantic layer, data repository (RDBMS, Hierarchical, Networked) and access capabilities. Collaborates with business and technology stakeholders to understand business drivers & strategies and then to ensure that target architectures/blueprints are aligned with a Data Architecture roadmap, aligned to investment portfolio/planning outcomes. Alternative and additional Job description The Senior Data Architect provides visibility with an Enterprise Data Architecture on a vision, strategy and roadmap on what enterprise data is used, who access it, where it is store, how it is stored, what security/privacy profile is enforced, what audit trails are used, when and why it was created and how it is archived, and how and what methods are used in the data transformation and movement within the information usage lifecycle. The Data Architect provides guidance for data governance, data integration, and data quality solution for information sharing within an enterprise. Included are reviews of IM Team development of data models, and data exchange packages for the visualization, movement and storage of information for a community of interest. Included is validating and/or producing specification, prototypes, physical storage design with supporting metadata references, distribution and navigation and visualization capabilities for information concepts.
