We are looking for an experienced Channel Manager to be based in Pune, India. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Establish dealers network and provide them with necessary coaching, training, technical & informational support. • Expand and develop existing distribution channel. • Establish service initiative with channel. • Ensure customer satisfaction through efficient channel strategy. • Guides channel partners & provides them with appropriate information about company’s products & technical services provided by company, using appropriate sales & distribution techniques. • Lead and engage Sales people providing them with personal input, feed back, opinion & suggesting appropriate distribution & sales channels. • Ensure the development of new sales strategies driving towards sales growth and revenue generation. • Generate new channel strategies and promotion activities. • Plan and forecast potential sales & asses channel preferences through efficient direct & indirect communication with customers. • Prepares channel contracts and channel training calendars. • Assist in preparation & distribution of leaflets, pamphlets, brochures and relevant marketing material designed for company promotion, especially in marketing events, conferences, exhibitions or specific product promotion schemes. • Regularly provides management with reports describing work flow & feedback on assigned tasks and submits weekly / monthly reports. • Develop and prepare the team for future growth. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS • Bachelor of Engineering / Technical Degree in Agriculture with diploma / degree in Management. • Over 12 years experience in a similar or related field, preferably with a multinational background. • Experience of working with channel engaged in farm machinery and services or dairy farm supplements and services or fast moving engineering goods like Pumps, irrigation equipment, air conditioning equipment, electronic component services through dealer etc. • Fluent English KEY SKILLS • Excellent communication skills with very high listening abilities. • Writing & reporting skills. • Team player with a cooperative & committed spirit and with strong organizational skills. • Ability to work under pressure & meet deadlines. • Flexible and willing to relocate if needed. • Innovative & creative. • Initiative driven, self motivated, independent & requires minimum supervision. • Ability to travel overseas when required for business needs.
