Must have minimum 5+ years of experience Should have Strong knowledge of Spring framework, Spring MVC OR Struts MVC Should have Strong experience using CSS, HTML, DHTML and JavaScript Title : Java/Spring Developer Location: Wisconsin Pay Rate: DOE Job Description: The Sr. Java/Spring Developer will be responsible for design, implementation and testing of front and back end components required for a multi-channel e-commerce application. The candidate must be able to work independently with minimum supervision. Technical skills: - 5+ years Java, J2EE, JSP development experience in large enterprise or high-volume transactional environment. - 2+ years Framework experience: Spring stack (including Spring Webflow) and Spring MVC - Strong Web 2.0 experience essential, including use of OO Javascript, AJAX, DHTML and JS libraries (eg jQuery/DOJO/ExtJs etc) - HTML, CSS, strong understanding of browser compatibility issues. - XML, XSL, processing/parsing. - Candidate must have strong structured methodology experience - Strong J2EE/OO Design patterns experience - Experience with implementing common design patterns - WebServices design experience: o SOAP Request/Response handling, authentication, Axis2. o Use of Unified Modeling Language (UML) to conceive a design o - Knowledge of web security standards and how to apply them Preferred Skills: - SQL and common database knowledge (Oracle 10g) - Basic UNIX experience. - Source code control systems: eg CVS - Build processes and Ant/Maven. - Experience with large scale, high volume web-based applications. - Experience with internationalization.
