Sr. SAS BI Consultant / Jr. SAS BI Consultant Job Description: Functional skills: • Sr. SAS BI Consultant : 5-8 Years of experience in an Implementation role • Jr. SAS BI Consultant: 2-5 Years of experience in an Implementation role • Should have experience in end to end Data warehousing/Business Intelligence implementation projects as a BI developer • Must have done development in end-to-end implementation of Data warehouse / business Intelligence engagement • Experienced in SAS BI tools. Performing hands-on design, development, and maintenance of SAS Enterprise BI Server content based on business requirements and data knowledge • Designing and implementing reports to meet the needs of the business Ability to develop reports using thin/thick client interfaces. • Working knowledge of data integration and reporting tools. • Working knowledge of industry standard third party tools such as schedulers, data modeling tools, and OS services. • Knowledge of DW/BI concepts, applications, and supporting data structures. • Creating documentation and literature from implementation experiences for product showcase and internal product enhancement • Sound understanding of data processing and warehousing techniques, as well as the tools used to access data and to produce reports. • Strong experience with BI reporting and dashboarding using SAS or other BI software (Cognos, BO, etc). • Performing other duties as assigned.
