"Now Hiring: Materials Lab Technician in Findlay, OH Ability to learn and safely operate materials laboratory instrumentation at a proficient level. Ability to learn and perform standard laboratory test methods and procedures at a proficient level. Ability to learn and conduct routine instrument set-ups, calibration, validation/verificaton, and minor maintenance and repairs based on documented methods and procedures, and on the job training. Must be able to accurately interpret customer test requests, and must be able to initiate and execute testing based on test requests. Ability to evaluate and report test results and data.Requirements - High School Diploma or GED required, prior laboratory experience and/or college education preferred. Positive attitude, sound work ethic and customer service skills. Must be able to lift up to 80-pounds on a lmited basis and 25-pounds on a consistent basis. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, overtime, and alternate/rotating schedules (for example 12-hour shifts in 24-hours) supporting 24/7 operation. Must be able to work in accordance with all applicable Corporate, Technical and Materials Lab policies and procedures. Must be detailed oriented, self-starting and must be able tto complete project on time with minimal supervision. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
