Post Resume -Get Paid by Employers at Resumark .com Subject: EUC Solutions Architect - End User Computing Practice Permanent - South East Samantha Rutter posted a job: EUC Solutions Architect - End User Computing Practice Permanent - South East "EUC Solutions Architect position is to be customer facing and play an active role in large scale Server Based Computing (SBC), Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), Enterprise Mobility, desktop migration and transformation projects for our customers. This will involve delivering throughout the complete project life cycle including pre-sales, design and leading build, test and deployment teams. SC Clearance is desirable. The key areas and technologies the candidate should have strong experience in are: - Discovery, analysis, design architecture and implementation of end-user experience profiles and use-case. - Design, architecture and implementation of VMware View 4/5 environments - Design, architecture and implementation of Citrix XenApp 4,5 and 6 AND XenDesktop 4 and 5 environments - Integrate multiple SBC and VDI technologies to provide a unified solution to end users - The ability to design solutions based on physical and virtual environments - Excellent technical knowledge of storage platforms, and how to optimize them for VDI - Design and Implementation knowledge of Citrix Access Gateway and NetScaler technologies - Implementation of VDI/SBC monitoring tools for proactive fault/performance monitoring and pre-production load testing - Experience in designing highly available, cross data centre solutions - Excellent technical skillset in supporting End-User technologies including Application and Persona virtualisation, compatibility testing, performance and configuration management. Accreditation required: - MCITP - VCP 4/5 - CCA for XenDesktop/XenApp/XenServer - CCIE/CCEE for Virtualisation Essential Skills required: - MS Windows 7 / Office 2010 - MS SCCM 2007 & Active Directory Services - MS App-V - VMware vSphere 4/5 - VMware View 4/5 - VMware ThinApp - Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop/XenServer - Citrix CAG and Netscaler appliances - Citrix EdgeSight - AppSense Management Suite, RES Workspace Manager, Liquidware Labs Desirable skills: - Experience with AppDNA (Citrix) / ChangeBase AoK (Quest) - Experience with Login VSI tool to measure the performance and scalability of centralized desktop environments such as Server Based Computing (SBC) and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI). - Microsoft Server Technologies and Applications, Server 2008, Exchange 2007/2010, Hyper-V. - Experience/knowledge of alternative remote access/WAN optimization technologies (e.g Juniper, Riverbed, Cisco WAAS) - Experience/knowledge of storage optimisation technologies e.g. Atlantis Ilio, Fusion-IO, Violin Memory - Wyse, HP, Samsung, IGEL Thin Client technology - HP/Cisco- routing & switching, security, wireless, voice - SAN Fabrics/Switches- Cisco/Brocade - Storage technologies e.g. HP EVA, Hitachi HDS, NetApp, EMC (EMC Clariion, VNX etc) - Experience/knowledge of EUC cloud based services and integration"
