Java Developer Contract in Fort Worth, TX Timberhorn IT Solutions is in search of a Java SE Developer for a contract engagement for one of our clients with offices in FTW, Texas. This role requires excellent programming, mentoring and leadership skills. Candidates in this position will develop new software features and functionality with minimal guidance. They will also be required to collaborate with other departments to better define requirements and implementation of software features, mentor junior developers on Java and object oriented programming technologies, and implement software solutions in accordance with established industry best practices. Educational Requirements/Work Experience A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering At least five (5) years of experience developing mission-critical, enterprise software on the Java platform Experience working in an Agile Software Development environment using either Scrum and/or Extreme Programming Skills In-depth knowledge of the following languages, tools & frameworks: Java SE Eclipse IDE Hibernate ORM framework Java Swing Spring Framework Java Server Faces JBoss Rich Faces SOAP UI JUnit DBUnit Oracle RDBMS and SQL syntax Extensive experience applying the concepts of object-oriented design and programming to mission-critical, enterprise software applications A mastery of, and extensive experience with, Object Oriented Design Patterns and their application in enterprise software applications Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities Demonstrated ability of developing software components with little to no guidance Ability to function under pressure and tight deadlines Demonstrated ability to function in a highly agile team environment  http://bull.hn/l/DVTM/5"
