The Engineer will be responsible delivering network and systems fixes and solutions in line with client’s requirements that allow the business to implement new products and services. Key areas 1. To handle daily network and optical projects and tasks 2. To take the responsibility on delivering complex network implementations and follow data center standard architecture 3. To ensure service availability and performance targets are achieved 4. To act as a point of escalation for network issues (Event handling and incident resolution) 5. Support Network pre-release and release-delivery activities (when requested) 6. Develop, test, and release network solutions and deliverables Key skills 1. University Degree in Computer Science or related IT subject from leading university. 2. Working in a large scale enterprise environments, ideally a company like IBM, EDS, Accenture Capgemini, Atos Origin or Logica (The client will not take anyone from Mahindra, Wipro or Tata. 3. CCIE SP with 7 years practical hands on experience 4. Network installations, implementations and configurations on CISCO Systems 5. Well knowledge/experience on MPLS networks (L2VPN/L3VPN/TE) advanced routing and switching (L2/L3) routing protocols (OSPF, ISIS, BGP) IOS (as, IOS-XR / IOS SR & SX)routers and switches (Cisco7600 / Cisco6500 / CRS-1 / ASR9K) 6. Cisco Optical ONS 15454 MSTP, Cisco Nexus 7. At least holding two CCxP certification specializations from Cisco Systems 8.
