"Churchill Downs Technology Initiatives Company is a growing, profitable entity that operates the Twinspires.com website and uses the most advanced technologies including real-time live video streaming, secure financial transactions and cloud based technology. Responsibilities: Architect & deliver the next generation platform for online games in SOA environment. Create high-level and detailed architectural specifications, ensuring feasibility, functionality, and integration with existing systems/platforms and back-end roadmap. Architect & implement core components, frameworks & enterprise services. Provide technical expertise, support and mentoring to engineering teams. B.S. Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent. 7+ yrs experience in software development and experience in J2EE preferably using JBoss. Strong experience in development against relational database preferably using MySQL & Hibernate. Strong knowledge of web-based enterprise class software requirements including security and scalability.
