If you are available, interested and possess the required skill, or know someone else who may be looking, please contact us at career@microagility.com Title: Mid-to-Sr. Java Developer Location: Dallas/Fort worth, TX Type: Corp to Corp/1099 or W2 Rate: $45-54 per hour Duration: Long Term Job ID: 0101-009 Java JOB DISCRIPTION Candidate will Develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs utilizing software packages considered. Responsible for designing software or customizing software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency. The technical skills include the knowledge of computer hardware and software. Experience: - 5 - 7 years experience required -Must have broad knowledge and experience with the core technologies used to create web applications/services - Expertise in J2EE technologies, specifically, Java, Struts, Spring, Hibernate, JMS, and JDBC. Working knowledge of J2EE-compliant application servers such as Websphere or Tomcat is required - Expertise in building SOAP and/or RESTful webservices using frameworks such as Apache CXF or Axis is required - Expertise in XML schema/WSDL design is required - Expertise in writing unit tests (using Junit or similar technology) and in functional testing web services using SOAPUI or similar tools is required. - Working knowledge of the UNIX/Linux operating system is required. Any experience with scripting (ex: shell, perl) is a plus - Gets stuff done in an Agile environment. This requires ability to take ownership of tasks from requirements through deployment, plan and execute in short sprints, coordinate with team members and clients in a highly dynamic environment Required Skills: - Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills - Strong ability to work independently and manage one’s time - - Strong knowledge of design techniques and principles involved in production of drawings and models Education/Experience - Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent training required About MicroAgility: (Inc 500 honoree in 2008) MicroAgility is a business and technology consulting company.
