If you are available, interested and possess the required skill, or know someone else who may be looking, please contact us at career@microagility.com Title: Sr. Java Developer (experience with Facebook like API) Location: Dallas/Fort worth, TX Type: Corp to Corp/1099 or W2 Rate: $55-60 per hour Duration: Long Term Job ID: 0101-008 Java JOB DISCRIPTION Experience: - 7 plus years experience required - Must have broad knowledge and experience with the core technologies used to render web sites and web applications. - Must have working knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis/Object Oriented Design methodologies and life cycles. - Must have 2+ years of Agile experience and Test Driven Development experience - Displays ability to work and communicate equally well with lead developer, architects, project managers, business and QA analysts. - Demonstrates hands-on expertise in J2EE technologies, specifically, Java, JavaScript, JQuery, Websphere, Struts, Spring, JMS, and JDBC. - Experience with Social Media HIGHLY desired, such as Facebook, Twitter, Google+, etc Responsibilities: - Participate in business and technical information technology solution implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and conversions. - Utilize object-oriented development tools to analyze, model, design, construct and test software systems. - Uses test driven development techniques including JUnit. - Investigate and resolve problems on software products and systems. - Identify areas for code improvement and refactor code. - Participate in requirements review sessions. - Contribute to project estimation process. - Perform peer code reviews. - Prepare system documentation.
