"We are looking for the SAP FICO Consultant Title: SAP FICO Consultant with Spanish Speaking Location: New York, NY Job Type: Full Time The candidate needs to be an expert in SAP processes within Finance and Control (FICO) modules of SAP. The job needs an individual who can support business users to carry out SAP processes during their day to day operations. Candidate will need to have good communication skills in both Spanish and English languages and should be able to co-ordinate between various support functions within Clientin a multi-country and multi cultural environment. Education and experience : Minimum University Graduate (finance or accounting major will be added advantage) 4-8 years of experience with minimum 2 years as functional consultant in SAP FICO module. Skill set required: Background in SAP ECC and/or BI MS Office (Functional knowledge of MS Access or any data reconciliation tools) Knowledge of Financial Services Industry (Insurance) Team player and able to support aggressive timeline Good communications (oral and written) skills Bi-lingual – Fluency in English and Spanish language Responsibilities: Provides support for to the finance team end users in Chile and Colombia to carry out SAP processes Assists users with queries and logging requests in system for any defects or issues that cannot be resolved Validates issues through end user interactions and provides work-arounds where possible Coordinates with the global Fin Ops post production team for resolution of issues raised by LAR users Provides business support for local and US GAAP close calendar process Develop test cases and facilitates testing and end users sign-offs Provides end user access/provisioning support Works with end users in the development of detailed business requirements for enhancement requests logged by LAR Participates in all support meetings and conference calls Facilitates any necessary language translation for communications to end users Interested candidates can send updated resume to chaithnayapk@softtrans.net"
