One of our client looking for the below mentioned position. Position: Sr Operations Manager Total experience: 12+ yrs Detail Job Description: Degree or equivalent experience in operations type environment with management responsibility. 12+ years of supervisory/leadership experience in operations or customer support. Strong interpersonal, communication, coaching and interviewing skills. Thorough understanding of HR policies and procedures, specifically staffing, employee relations, discipline, termination, etc. General understanding of Telecommunications and wireless industry and technology. General understanding SMS, and MMS messaging is a plus. Products and services experience is preferred. Demonstrate expertise on Project Management General Summary: This position is responsible for the daily operation, support and overall direction and managing of the operations support staff, customers and local personnel. Receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals. Provides guidance to subordinates within the latitude of established company policies. Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect immediate organization(s). Responsibilities include management of the activities of customer support group in the delivery of superior products and services. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends. Follows processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Acts as advisor to subordinate(s) to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems. Manage ongoing performance and maintain a superior level of quality service and support in the delivery of products and services, which result in continued customer satisfaction. Guide the development and expertise of personnel, both technically and in personal skill areas, via multiple training venues. Document employee performance achieved and administers salary and performance evaluations. Resolve internal/external conflicts as neede Establishes and assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans and performance requirements. Responsible for department budget, including capital and expense costs related to the project and staff under the managers’ control. Regular interaction with senior management on projects that cross functional areas; provide executive level summary reporting on all projects/programs under supervision. Provide technical expertise necessary for life cycle support and the development of system enhancements to meet customer requirements, provide process efficiencies and reduce operating costs. Provide technical leadership to the team. Develop budget and staffing requirements on an annual basis. Attend project/product related meetings. Handle Project Management responsibilities. Build, administer and report on project work plans. Assist employees with career development plans Consult with peers in Technology, HR, Finance and Marketing to ensure strategic and financial objectives are achieved while meeting customer needs and expectations.
