"OSS Engineer (Fraud and Revenue Assurance) in Damascus, Syria Urgent positions for OSS Engineer(Fraud and Revenue Assurance) based in Syria and Eritrea. Applicants must be currently based in Syria or Eritrea. Experience in the following areas: • Supervise CDR collection, continuity of CDRs, processing of CDRs to prepare different telecom operators interconnect bill. • Continuous Monitoring of Mediation Server in order to make sure accumulation of CDRs in billing database • Continuous Monitoring of Billing Server in order to make sure consistency of records in billing database which will eventually facilitate in generating various type of reports. • Ensure uptime of UNIX (Solaris)/Windows based servers for the billing purpose through proactive monitoring and system administration activities. • Ensure that the Network is always up and stable through the proactive monitoring of the E1s and network devices (Cisco Routers, Huawei routers .E1 modems….etc). • Ensure that all related faults in Billing & Mediation Servers and other related equipments are monitored rigorously, handled immediately and rectified in the shortest possible time. • Ensure all required systems (Operating System, Database, and CDR etc.) are backed up. • Supervise office automation and Management Information System (MIS). • Supervision of preventive routines in order to minimize error in billing. • Trouble shooting of any 3rd party applications used by any such server related with billing and mediation. • Compliance of SOPs for routine maintenance related equipments on daily/weekly/monthly basis. 4-5 experience of mediation development /analysis Experience, with 2-3 years in telco development with these key words may be experience is higher 4 yrs of c /database , plus 2 years of analysis ALL TELCOM EXPERIENCE Educational Requirements Degree in Electronics Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/ Computer Engineering/ Computer science or equivalent. Experience Requirements Minimum 3-5 year(s) Additional Job Requirements At least 3 years of experience in software development involving large database. Experience in Mediation and billing software. Experience in PSTN and PLMN system. Expertise in working with SQL and Oracle. Working experience on UNIX based platforms and operating systems like Sun Solaris. Familiar with C++, Java, PHP and Shell Scripting. Excellent verbal, presentation and interpersonal skills. Strong interpersonal and managerial skills. Good communication and decision making skills.
