"DeWAL Industries is a US based family owned manufacturer and offers a wide array of products, including PTFE and UHMW-PE film, pressure sensitive tapes, extruded/unsintered PTFE films along with highly technical expanded PTFE (ePTFE) and Porous UHMW and PTFE products. Out of their production facility located in Narragansett, RI and with a team of over a 150 employees DeWAL focuses on offering high quality products and innovative solutions. With their products DeWAL is supplying a width variety of clients, including manufactures of wire & cable, chemical hoses, belting, electrical/electronic products, medical, flexible & microwave circuit manufacturers and rubber profile industries. To develop and expand the activities in Europe, DeWAL is looking for a European Sales Engineer In this role you will be the key person in Europe and responsible for identifying, developing, maintaining and expanding the DeWAL customer base in the assigned region. Tasks and responsibilities are: - Set up sales and account plans and targets - Contact (potential) clients by phone, email and visits - Technical training and advice to clients - Generate turnover in multiple sales channels - end users, OEM and distributors - Be the link between the European clients and the US team - Quote and order handling - Participate on tradeshows, support on advertising, press releases and other marketing communication The position requires traveling 50%+ on European level and is home office based. You will report to the Director of sales and marketing located in the USA. Profile: - BA degree in business or technical field and 3+ years work experience - Experience in PTFE, UHMW or comparable, with background in films and tapes made from these materials - Experience with OEM sales and distributors - Networker, entrepreneur - Able to think and act on a strategic level, but has a hands on attitude - Fluent in English and German Our offer: A challenging role as key person and pioneer in a new market.
