"Systems Test Engineer in San Mateo, CA Looking for a passionate engineer with track record of testing and deploying products preferably in the analytics space. This is an ideal role for somebody looking to interface with customers for deployment and acceptance of products in the analytics space. This position is based in San Mateo, California, US and reports to System Test Manager/Director who is based out of Gurgaon, India. As a part of the job requirement frequent travel to customer sites in US/Europe/Asia Pacific is required. Travel to Gurgaon, India where the R&D center is located is also required for getting trained on products, typically for 2-3 weeks 3 to 4 times a year. About the Company Our client is a technology startup offering analytics solutions to enterprises based on patent-pending technology developed at Sprint Labs, Intel Research and Boston University. Their analytics solutions work for multiple decision makers across different industries empowering them to access & analyze data and convert them into actionable knowledge. Our client addresses a growing market for analyzing high volumes of unstructured network data, which is generated by Telecom Service Providers. They do this by building solutions, which provide a custom view of the data for that particular function; say the CFO’s office. These solutions are built using their proprietary platform, which uses a patented algorithm for pulling out data from the networks. This approach reduces the cost of the solution and time to market. Customers are Telecom Service Providers like Sprint, Verizon, AT&T etc.,. Our client is well poised to grow faster by reducing the sales lead time as it deploys more and more solutions in the field demonstrating its USP; low cost and quick ROI. Mandatory Skills: Good experience in Linux and shell scripting (Python, Perl etc.) TCP/IP (L2/L3) protocols Experience in manual testing and automation Experience in acceptance testing by working closely with customers Preferred Skills: Experience in Database/SQL Experience in distributed technologies e.g. Hadoop Experience in Linux administration Qualification: B.S/MS in any engineering from a premier Engineering School Excellent written and verbal communication Minimum of 5 years of professional experience http://bull.hn/l/GGQZ/1"
