One of our client looking for the below mentioned position. Position: Accounts Head Total experience: 10+ yrs Job Description Overview: Planning Assist in formulating the company's Business Plan & budget. Analyse the root cause and report the Budget vs actual variances. Operations Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team Maintain in-depth relations with all members of the management team Ensure statutory and process compliances Help operational heads in minimizing working capital cycle. Financial Oversee the issuance of financial information Complies with accounting standards and implements profit centre accounting. Report financial results to the Director/MD. Risk Management Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile Monitor all open legal issues involving the company Construct and monitor reliable control systems Maintain appropriate insurance coverage Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations Funding Project cash flows, monitor cash balances & minimize working capital cycle and borrowing costs Tax compliances Ensure timely and accurate collection/ deposit of taxes (VAT, WCT, Service Tax, Professional Tax & income tax), computation of input tax, filing of returns and assessment. Keep track of changes in the tax laws and comply. Desired Qualifications: The candidate should have a with 10+ years of progressively responsible experience at least for 5 years as Head of Finance & Accounts preferably in Construction Industry.
